Great dreams and visions are never embraced at the incubation stage. Most great men were never perturbed by the initial responses and reactions of men to them because they know that as they glide against the tide, men certainly will understand and support their vision and become tools for the mission. If you think people will accept you one time, you may be daydreaming. If you stop because you didn’t get support you will stink in stagnancy. If you believe in it, then become your number one supporter and go the extra mile in it. No matter how you try, most people will come to the brightness of your rising and not the darkness of your fall.
I remember way back, a young man who owned a lecture house sometime in 2008, He was doing well at the budding phase, everything was moving smoothly, and sincerely I envied him because of the bold step he took. I received the shock of my life when I saw him sometime later in 2014 as a “wheelbarrow boy” I didn’t go to him at first to know what happened because it was unbelievable to me. Recently I summoned courage to approach him, my friend, this guy undoubtedly went through ‘hell’ which I’m familiar with. I have seen people go through similar circumstances yet they stood their ground. The truth is: it isn’t what happens to you that counts but how you react to it.
No matter how promising your vision is, you must have to stand alone for some time until it become clear to those who will partner with you, men can’t identify with what they know less about. Your doggedness will prove to them you are serious about your course. You will only receive help from men who see your investment in your projects and not just your interest in it. Life will push you to the wall, it will almost squeeze life out of you, but you must decide if you will remain at the back or front side, it’s your choice and not the circumstance, you are a product of your choice and not the circumstance, I shared more on this in my latest book, WAKE UP (Getting a copy wouldn’t be a bad idea). Go the extra mile, stop waiting and wasting. Go ahead, Go the extra mile. Excuses are understandable but they take you nowhere. Become a finisher!
