MY SATURDAY THOUGHTS

I woke up this morning with a song in my spirit, Hallelujah Praise by Cece Winans, I went on to download it because I don’t have it anymore in my library. As i begin to listen and sing along, the lyrics caught me as i begin to remember the first time I heard that song in 2005. By the time you are reading this, I must have listened to it over 20 times!

I enjoy this part:
Let the high praise be in your mouth
Bless His holy name forever, ever
Young and the old, all God’s children
Let’s praise Him, and Him alone

I remember what I was going through at the moment in school, how things were rough and tough and had to believe God for miracles and indeed He performed miracles that were glaring even before the very eyes of those closest to me.

Why did i share this today? I need you to know that God has ransomed us from many things that would have made mockery of the life we lead but His grace was sufficient for us.

While we look forward to the future better than here, we should never lose sight of where we are coming from. What songs stimulate such memories of God’s faithfulness to your life? At different seasons of my life, there were songs that ministered to my spirit.

Please share the songs that gave you courage to weather your storms. I like to know! Enjoy your weekend!
